Jack served a broad range of clients for more than 38 years while at Ernst & Young LLP. Most recently he was the Market Segment Team Leader for Ernst & Young's Life Sciences industry practice in the Southeast. He retired in 2000.
Spencer is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and, in addition to serving on the Board of Directors of Banyan Biomarkers, Inc., he is on the Board of Directors of GeneEx, Inc; Firstwave Technologies, Inc. and GeoVax Labs, Inc. Spencer is a Director and Past President of the Georgia Biomedical Partnership and provides financial consulting services to a number of companies.
Some of his past professional involvements include serving as President and a Director of the Business and Technology Alliance. He was a cofounder of the Atlanta Venture Forum where he served as Treasurer for 23 years.In 2006, he was Co-Chair of the Southeast BIO Investors Forum held in Atlanta, Georgia. The Georgia Biomedical Partnership awarded Spencer the First Annual Award for being a principal architect of the biomedical community in Georgia.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College. He also attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. |
